Welcome to the
Cape Knife Club
About
The Cape Knife Club from its inception in the early ’90s has been through some changes including a small period of dormancy but fortunately for us, this was for a very short period. Through all its changes over the 29 odd years of activity the basic core of making knives and its various disciplines have remained.
It has always been the goal of this club to foster the art of making knives, offering support, training, club meetings, yearly club shows and then assistance where possible to those members who wish to apply to become a member of The Knifemakers Guild of South Africa.
Today the club can proudly state that several of its founding and early members have progressed to receive the ultimate recognition from the Knifemakers Guild of South Africa. With the power of social media and online platforms, The Cape Knife Club is not governed by provincial boundaries, and membership is spread far & wide.
The Cape Knife Club is a registered Non-Profit Organization with a bona fide bank account, elected executive committee, and constitution.
This website will be under constant construction as the member list & content are updated so, please visit us on a regular basis.2023 is a big year for us as we enter our 30th year of knife talk, will be hosting our 18th knife show and we look forward to the journey.
