Basic Introduction
My journey into knife making began in 2021 after watching a YouTube video of someone crafting a knife from an old steel file. Inspired, I headed to the garage, dug out an old file, and—with nothing more than an angle grinder, a coffee can forge (thanks again, YouTube), and some elbow grease—I made my first knife. The pride I felt in transforming a piece of steel into a finished blade was incredible. I was hooked.
